The Our Story page is where you can learn why Wear It Forward exists, who’s behind it, and the journey that brought us here. From our family-run roots at CMS to our personal connection with charities, this is the story of how we turned merchandise into a way to raise funds, spread awareness, and give back to causes that change lives
Wear It Forward was created to make fundraising simple, visible and impactful. Every T-shirt, hoodie, or mug you buy here raises money for a chosen charity, and every time you use it, you help spread their message further.
We’re not a charity ourselves. We’re a family-run business, powered by Creator Merch Solutions (CMS), that donates 100% of profits from every item to the charities we work with. Our goal is to take the hassle out of fundraising merchandise, so charities can focus on the important work they do.
The idea for Wear It Forward was born out of personal experience. Cai, co-founder of CMS, has lived with Crohn’s disease for more than a decade. Throughout that time, he has seen firsthand how charities such as Crohn’s & Colitis UK provide essential support, awareness, and hope.
Together with Eleanor, his mother and business partner, Cai wanted to create something that would give back to charities in a bigger way, using the same expertise that CMS provides to creators every day.

Cai has five years of experience in web design, hosting, and e-commerce. Living with Crohn’s disease for more than a decade, he knows firsthand the value of charity support. At Wear It Forward, Cai ensures that the technology works seamlessly, allowing charities to raise money through merchandise without added stress or complexity, and supporters can shop with confidence.

Eleanor brings over 25 years of experience in graphic design, branding and creative content. After being diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, she experienced firsthand just how important charities can be in providing support, information and hope during some of life’s most difficult moments. At Wear It Forward, Eleanor combines that personal experience with her creative background to help charities raise vital funds, spread awareness and get their message seen through merchandise with a purpose.
